Launching a Reading Revolution (and a Website)

November 7, 2008

Last week, as some readers will have noticed, we quietly launched the new website for The Reader Organisation on a snazzy new domain http://thereader.org.uk. With the impending launch of a Reading Revolution later today it seemed appropriate to announce it here now.

We’ve been working on this for quite a while and while there is still work to do, we think the new design will enable us to promote our work more effectively in the years to come. The site has sections for all of the organisation’s activities and it will be growing and developing as our activities demand. You’ll find information about the organisation, our outreach activities, events, research, as well as being able to subscribe to an events calendar and view our latest news. The Reader magazine now has its own section of the site where you can read about the latest issue, buy back issues, and subscribe.

The Reader Organisation is dedicated to bringing about a Reading Revolution - engaging people of all ages and backgrounds in sharing a wealth of literature – and with the help of our new website, we hope to get our message reaching more people. The official launch event for the Reading Revolution is today.
