Exciting times ahead in London – to add to our thriving set of Get Into Reading groups running across the capital, a brand new shared reading group will be coming to the Southbank Centre from this week.

Book Break is outside the Poetry Library, The Royal Festival Hall every Thursday from 1-3pm, with the very first group on tomorrow, Thursday 8th November. We’re very excited to be teaming up with the Southbank Centre and Coin Street Community Builders for Book Break, which forms part of the Get Reading project at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre on Stamford Street.

It’s a place to relax and share reading with new friends – no reading is needed in advance, just turn up and enjoy some reading aloud! The group is open to all each week.

We’ve also recently started our new project with Southwark Libraries, running Feel Better With A Book groups in Southwark and offering a collection of Feel Better books on loan in Peckham, Camberwell, Canada Water, Newington, John Havard and Dulwich Libraries. Pick up a book and feel better!

Visit our website for details of all of our open community groups currently running in London, and elsewhere across the country.
